Arturito was rescued in Barranquilla, Colombia, with a huge hole in his ear and head, filled with maggots and infection. He was covered in ticks and therefore tested positive for all known blood parasites. He also had heartworm and was severely malnourished. Our sweet little coastal dog has been through so much, but he has overcome it all with courage and joy. After a long treatment and losing his ear, he is now healthy and an absolute sweetheart—super affectionate and cuddly, with SPECTACULAR fur that gets more handsome every day! Although he was abandoned, he trusts humans again, so much so that he wants to defend them from other dogs. He's currently in behavior classes to become more sociable.
