Cereza was rescued pregnant and living with people who didn't care for her on a farm. She had worms in her skin, was malnourished, and slept in the sun and rain. Cereza gave birth to her puppies a few days after being rescued, and her first puppy was stillborn. However, she had four more healthy puppies, who are now two months old. Cereza has a prolapsed lower eyelid, which is an exposing of the lower eyelid. This will be corrected with surgery, which will be performed when she is spayed in a month, once she has fully recovered from giving birth.
