Bizcochito was rescued four years ago, soaking wet in the pouring rain. We saw him so tiny, shivering, and all alone that we couldn't help but help. He had a severe dental infection, so we had to perform two surgeries to remove teeth and molars that were in bad shape and preventing him from eating, causing him a lot of pain. A year ago, Bizcochito started developing a chronic cough, and after several tests, it was determined that he has a chronic allergic reaction to lung bacteria. He needs weekly nebulizer treatments, anti-inflammatory injections, a long list of additional medications, and regular bronchial washes to help him feel better. He also had a bronchoscopy, which revealed that his trachea has some very thin sections that have begun to rupture, which is also causing his cough.
